Just wondering if any of you have checked out Second Life? I can't help noting that LindenLabs calls the loading and unloading of avatars "rezzing" and "derezzing", and specifically references Tron.

that's cool, I have an account there, I either forgot that was a term, or was unaware. Nice info. I haven't been on in a while, just barely have time for anything lately. It's fun though. best if you have a good 'puter and vcard.

I tried second life once, but quit after the first day. It absolutly kills my computer. I got bored and couldn't figure out what there was to do that's actually intresting(to me), and I'm quite iffy about the concept of linden dollers(right term?). I'm also iffy on privacy too.
I remember my friend who was also trying out the game the same day ask me "Uh........now what?What are we suppose to do?". One of the mods  responded, "Do what ever you can imagine", or something corny like that.
The MMO(Is that what you can call it?) references rezzing and derezzing? I think Flynn has an eaiser time transfering to the computer world through an Apple 3 than that game.  :Pwhere to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I've seen that one as well as left 4 dead as well. But I don't think my precision 530 would handle it since it is a dual Xeon 1.5 processors in it and 2 gigs of ram. Even left 4 dead. I've gooten at least three computers running as servers instead over here doing some testing of php applications instead. Which makes it easier for me over here. Since I could already reformat the drive and reinstall the OS. And a ersonal website that I have dedicated on one that I am still working on over here.
