I coudn't help but notice that in general, there are people who either don't like TRON, or they make weird statements that are somewhat useless about TRON, one of whom was Morgan Webb on G4, while commenting on this game, said "and you don't even have to look at Bruce Boxleitner".
I mean, wow... they must have a repressed audience. I kinda shrieked when she said that.. but it's common among that generation to behave like that. What gives? Without provocation there's whom what my friend would call a "roundmouth".
Just one story of 3.. has anyone noticed this phenomenon? abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion |

Let me preface what I'm about to say with the following: what may follow may be generalizing and painting the under-30 crowd with a broad brush.
Now, with that being said: Personally, I don't want to hear much of what most under-30 people have to say about TRON, and for most people, period. WHY? Because they can't or are unwilling or unable to open their mind enough to understand TRON. TRON IS NOT rocket science! It's a cool scifi film about a man's perilous voyage inside a computer where he must fight for his life using the creations he created, which were stolen from him. Creations which he seeks to prove that someone stole them from him. TRON is also a metaphorical metaphysical story that also makes several statements on society and the messiah concept. That's what TRON IS in a nutshell. order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Sadly a lot of people my age tend to not like Tron, and anything made in the early 80s to mid 90s. I know because everyone I know my age in real life and younger than me tends to act like that about Tron.
Most of them have never seen the whole movie. Some, none at all.
Am I writing poetry here? Or writing comments?
Anyways, for some I tell them what the movie is about and why I liked it so much. They get a better understanding, even watch the movie and enjoy it.
I can't say this is true for everyone my age. It's mostly like this around my town, but not everywhere else.
In fact in one of my college classes last year, I posted the Tron 2 test footage on the last day of class.
You could say everyone, including the instructor was surprised and high off of the footage.
I'm cold and calculating. Don't press my buttons.

The general popular opinion among all age groups in today's world is that nerds are not cool. Cool is cool and in order to obtain more viewers on your TV station, more hits on your website, or more attention to yourself, you have to make everyone think you're as non-geek as possible. Why should someone want all the viewers, hits, or attention? More advertisers want to pay to have that space, which, in a nutshell, means the more people looking at you, the more advertisers you'll have, which means more money in your wallet. Now, in order for a TV Host/Website/Celeberty fit into the contemporary definition of cool, they have to try as hard as they can to not look like a nerd, or else audiences will generally think to themselves "Oh, just another one of those nerds, probably speaking some other language", which would probably result in them going to another channel. Because the general stereotype is that anyone who likes TRON is a HUGE nerd, you'll generally see stuff like "I've never seen TRON, but there's a long awaited sequel coming out..." or "TRON is such a weird 80's thing..." (both real world examples *even more disturbing, the latter was said by an actress who will be IN TRON 2 during an interview!*).
Please do share the other two stories.

I hate how other people hate things that are older than them. And when someone hates TRON that bad.... It's worse.
Bruce Boxleitner is'nt that ugly! I mean, If I looked like him, I'd be getting alot of Girlfriends! Seriously... Morgan Webb is probably hiding her dark, secret love for Bruce...

Dude, I think Bruce is very good looking. :B
(One thing my sister and I can agree on. :P)
...meh, there'll always be some people who dislike Tron, but I can understand some reasons like "the colors really bother their eyes" which is entirely understandable.
But to make fun of the storyline, whatever. If Tron had originally stuck with the pizza delivery boy getting sucked into the computer, that WOULD be a cheeseball 80's movie right there. The statement is that it's an adult video game programmer obviously changes things: It takes a gamer to understand computers... :Porder abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I think the simple long and short of it is the "cool" thing to do is bash anything old/you don't get. Perfect example from high school. We're talking about something in US History, and we somehow get onto the significance of John Lennon's murder. This girl speaks out and says "Yeah, but who cares? That was, like, so long ago. He doesn't matter."
Now, I know not everyone likes The Beatles. But you can't deny the fact that they deserve every ounce of respect they get for their contributions to the arts. Is Tron on the same level as The Beatles? No. But is it something that not everyone is into? Absolutely. And as such, along with the fact that it's "old", there will always be people mindlessly badmouthing it in order to sound hip and funny.
And I can guarantee you every single person that said anything against it will pull a complete 180 if the sequel is a success.
