So I've been doing some research on night-vision goggles and othe such equipment and have a basic understanding of how it works. I was planning on making a pair of glasses/compact goggles that would improve night-vsion (just for the fun of it) but it would either be too expensive/bulky. Two other thoughts occurred to me, the first being that Red light least affects your natural night vision. The second, though I'm not too sure, is that yellow lenses somehow improve night vision.
I haven't quite worked out what I'm aksing here, but if anyone could offer some advice, that'd be great

Haha that's pretty cool. I heard a smilar method where you remove the IR filterfrom a digital camera and cover the lens with visible-light-blocking gel so that you only see IR, but again those aren't goggles
For some reason I have the vague notion that yellow lenses improve night vision somewhat. Any truth to this?
