iTunes on Vista 64 bit

Okay, please help me.

I have Vista 64 bit, and I just got an iPod. Whenever I try to install iTunes for Windows Vista 64 Bit, I get this before the install starts:

TRON 2.0 (PC) name - TRON.dll
I'll play any mode, but I'm best at LC.

This page on Apple's web site may be of help.

It says to make sure you have iTunes 7.6 or later, and that the installer must be named iTunes64Setup.exe.

That page didn't really help too much. I'm installing iTunes for the first time. The above error message was recieved while running iTunes64Setup.exe also.

I've tried running this through Firefox and Internet Explorer, and I have no idea why it's doing this.

Unfortunately, the solution is a bit tedious.

Nevermind, I got it.

Apparently, that Spore expansion pack was weird and caused some glitches to happen, I dunno..

I restarted my PC and successfully installed iTunes, so yey.

Yeah Spore, I've kept away from that game with the amount of tracking and spying software built into it. It basically reports everything you have off to EA. That and the fact once you install it 3-5 times (dunno if they extended the installs) thats it you cannot install it. I don't agree with EA's new approach with treating people who buy the games like criminals.

Good to know you got it working though. I've never had trouble with iTunes except with auto updater that is built into it. When updating it never seems to work on vista 64, my advice would be to give the updater a try when it does eventually pop up. And if it doesn't work just download the new version from the website.
