I saw this news a couple of days ago, but didn't report it because TR2N isn't mentioned.

There's a good chance that TR2N will probably be released in Imax. But right now that's just speculation.

We already knew it was going to be 3-D, though. All of Disney's upcoming films are going 3-D. Not sure what I think of it. I feel it's kind of a lame gimmick, mainly done to help fight movie piracy and try to increase theater draw, and not to really be used to any benefit in the films.
