Well this coming weekend I'll be getting somewhat of a new pc myself gratis from another techie apprentise of mine over here. a Dell Precision 530 with dual XEON CPU's in it. And maybe a 36ig SCSI LVD drive. I'm pulling apart two other computers to bring to the recycling center. But what I have in there from the other two computers. Like drives I'll be able to add what I have as for drives into this mutha sin of a gun of a machine. Maxed out on drives and 2 gigs of ram maxed already. Problem its rambus and not the typical ddr type of memory. But still it is better than nothing. And nothing to sneeze at either. and a nvidia quadro 128 meg video card.



I might just put in a combo linux and vista in that baby.

I'm hoping to get my new sstem this weekend. I have to wait until Sunday to meet up with my protoge from where I used to work. Going to be getting a Dell Prcision 530 with dual Xeon processors, 2 gigs of rambus, and maybe a SCSI drive included with it, and a Nvidia Quadra 400GXL 128 megs of ram on that one. I'll be adding in a 250 gig hard drive into this maybe 2 of them so I can dual boot windows and Ubuntu. Then I can play Tron 2.0 on it properly than on a old Pentium III 500 and 384 megs of ram.

When I walked onto that platform (the one you see Jet standing on in this pic), and the lines came out of nowhere and formed the switches, I was like, "WOAH, THAT WAS AWESOME!"

There was that one in the firewall itself. and a couple of other places for me when viewing the sections. There was another section of the game where you could view the light cycles up on what looked like the crows nest where you had to retrieved your disk. Where you could floar on some moving boxes where they lead to other sections of the sector. But not passing through where the boxes ent into but to get you to the top of the level.
