So I got fed up with Sim City Creator, admittedly, it phailed hard. I returned it to the rental place and reinstalled Sim City 3000 Unlimited on my new computer. Now Sim City 3000 Unlimited was originally released in 2001, and this is Windows Vista. Works very well, quite surprisingly. The things I really liked about Sim City 3000 that were completely absent in Creator was the very well done soundtrack and the awesome newsticker stories. Check out this screenshot:


Look at the newsticker at the bottom, lol. Also, since it's the Unlimited edition, it also includes the really open building creator and scenario creator. Very cool.

IMO, one of the best Sim City games. I would've installed Sim City 4 with it's expansion, but I don't have the original disk. I'm a cheapskate because I got the original game from the library and bought the Expansion Pack separately, lol.

Nevertheless, lots of really good memories here.
