I've found a couple of games you guys may be interested in, these game are the real Roleplaying games (as in sitting around a table with friends, not the computer versions,)
For one of these Games you will need another book (RPG) called all "All Flesh Must be Eaten"
TRON (free to download)

The other is TRON in all but name, its called "Virtual"
not free, but the setting is pretty good, its like they expaned the TRON setting

If you know nothing about these types of games ask me to explain it for you, I know it can sometimes be a tough concept to grasp if you are from outside the hobby,

Sounds interesting. I don't think I have the time (or friends) to play actualy paper and dice games anymore, but I do have fond memories in my youth of playing them. Thanks for the info.

I'd considered making a standalone tabletop rpg for awhile now. Trouble is other than lack of apparent wider interest I"m not sure what system to use.
that and lack of playtesters. Needing somebody to proof/do corrections, get artwork that isn't a straight rip from anything else, yadda yadda yadda.

 Ahh, Virtual. I picked it up many moons ago. Even started a project to revise the 3rd Ed. spellbook so all the spell names and terminology were changed to Virtual's rewrites. Didn't get far, though, and never actually played it!

Often overlooked, but actually quite entertaining are the days of IRC text based RPGs. I'd love to see one get started up.
