You're right, the master server could be experiencing some downtime due to a power outage or the like..
Sorry, it just kinda destroyed my brain there for a sec...

Like I said over on LDSO, it's probably temporary. I wouldn't panic yet.
If it's still like this in a couple of days from now, then I think we'll have reason to worry. But Gamespy still runs servers for games much older than Tron 2.0.
Also, there would be a way around it. Hamachi. But the Gamespy server remaining in service would be preferable, of course.
Ironic that this happened just after you started a topic about support for the game . . .

Still down, and yes, TronFAQ, very ironic. 
UPDATE FROM TRONFAQ: It's not just Tron 2.0, other Gamespy servers are affected. Read the post at his blog.

I would have suggested personally that I would have used my second server to set something up for a tron server over here if you needed your tron gaming fix. If I can find Daddyo's Application to do it and get some of the other mods that are out there to do it. So long as there is not a huge traffice for it for TS folks who still play it.

Well, what happened is that the master server went down. In short, the server that hosts the servers went down.

Glad to hear.
Those Tron 2.0 fans who see the list of available Tron servers has dwindled, I haven't forgotten to put one up, I've had more than my share of technical difficulty repairing hardware I lost to power fluctuation.
So I may have to do a full rebuild of both my gaming PC(that I've attempted 4 times now lost vcard sound, ect..), and the server. (booo) But it's still gonna be there.. I have a decent connection, just gotta get this thing back up.
