This is mainly for Americans, but I think it's important that those of other nationalities take a look at this as well.
Those of you who've been around here for a while pretty much know of my disgust for the mainstream media and how they present the "news" (note the quotes) these days.
Late night TV host Craig Ferguson, who recently became a U.S. citizen, spoke about this particular election season in a very honest way. It's a non-partisan, humorous, yet very truthful and blunt look at what's going on this election season.
For a guy who was not born in the United States and did not grow up in this country, I truly believe that he gets this country better than most Americans I know do. I've never seen his show before but now I'm big fan of Craig and his very intelligent words of wisdom about this election, the media, and voting.
I advise ALL of you to click the link and spend the next 9 minutes getting a good reality check from a late night personality who holds far more merit and presents more intelligence than most of the mainstream media sources the rest of America is watching (not including me - I gave up on the media years ago).

This being a political season and political subject, please watch your comments. This ain't about who's voting for who or why. It ain't about the left or the right. It's about why you should vote and what you need to do to educate yourself about the candidates. So please don't turn this in to a political debate thread. My intentions are to enlighten folks about the big picture, not to start a discussion about the candidates or parties or any of that other crap that always gets would-be friends in to hate-filled shouting matches.
Don't make me have to lock and/or delete a thread I started, k?
