I'm just sitting here going about my business when all of a sudden - out of NOWHERE the damn Tetris theme (default Gameboy version) started playing in my head.

What's up with that?

Oh - that sucker will be there for a while too.

So I was wondering if this happened to anyone else too. Obviously gaming music might get stuck in your head for a while just after playing it - especially the more gaming classic tunes.

Which gaming tunes pop out of no where and get you though?

I'd imagine Tetris and the original Super Mario Brothers theme are among the more popular ones to get stuck in people's heads at times.

I get the TRON tune stuck in my head out of nowhere as well. The arcade machine tune to be exact. And get this - it's usually the final ending tune that plays slightly faster. I have vivid memories on that game, but the ending derezzing tune seems to be the one that pops out of nowhere for me.

Hollow Bastion theme from the first Kingdom Hearts. Best bit of video game music ever. Very epic. It wasn't as good in the second KH, but there was TRON in that, so who's complaining?
