Alright, I beat Portal once, now I'm going again with the developer commentary. I've got some questions:

-I saw an early trailer for Portal which featured a level with a fire pit in the center, and another similar level but with an added spiked celing. Are these levels in the actual game, or were they removed?
-Anyone know of a good website where I can get some custom Portal maps that don't require Half Life 2 to run?
-I don't understand why people are so emotional when it comes to disentigrating the companion cube. When I got to that part of the game, I disentigrated it without even having to think about it once. Am I like some kind of soulless monster becuase of that?

Back on topic now, I'm gonna try installing a map pack. It says in the readme:

IMPORTANT: This mappack requires both Portal and Half Life 2 to be owned and installed in order to work.

Is it referring to the Half Life 2 engine included with Portal, or actual Half Life 2?
