Woah, was that insane swerve from Marvel movies to hatred and upsetedness (now a word) my fault?

Btw, that was sarcasm.

Anyways, back on topic, I'm starting to wonder if DC comics will be a huge competitor for Marvel in the movies industry. I'm more in the "casual" viewing audience, or more so the person who doesn't know squat about the main character's backstory at all. Marvel's excelent job of making Iron Man acceptable to the "casual" viewing audience, yet still making it very enjoyable to diehard comic fans, was great. I really hope Marvel and DC continue to make their new movies in this fasion, because I really liked Iron Man and Transformers, and Dark Night is looking awesome, and when I went/go to see these movies in the theatre, I knew/will know SQUAT about any of this stuff.

2008 ftw.

Yeah Independance Day I was celebrating it with a few of my American friends....does that mean I am a poor english man??? LOL. Hey its all good to me acutally I fancy watching that movie now ROFL.

If you want a faithful retelling of War of the Worlds there is an Independant Version by Pendragon Productions. Acting and FX isnt fantastic but its still enjoyable. What I loved about the movie (and its not that its set in england LOL) is that the machines could be destoryed and many of them were, it gave me that sense of hope and eagerness that humanity could win.

I think the biggest intult to British people was the movie U-571 where historically it was the British who captured the sub and the enigma machine yet it was changed to Americans.

But that is not what this topic is about!

I just read that there is an up and comming Thor move! Now THATS gonna rule! I but will it be like the comics because from what I remember Thor and the guy who transforms into him dont look anything alike do you think that will be the same in the movie?
