Stan Winston was a true master of special effects. A genius and an inspiration, he will be sorely missed.

Damn.
He was a true master of the special effects craft and will be truely missed. I've always admired his work to the highest degree. The Terminator endoskeleton his team created will always be a piece of animatroic art in my eyes.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill https://www.flickr.com/photos/blue_bezel/ |

Yeah, this really sucks! What a loss to the film world.
I know this will sound weird, but I can't think of a better tribute to him than a museum of his works and an animatric version of him as your host.
I think he'd like that, and we could all enjoy his amazing works over and over again.

I was hoping this was a hoax, but it turned out not to be.
Looks like this news came as a shock to pretty much everyone, because I would have to say that Stan Winston did not let many people know he was ill. Apparently, he was ill for the last 7 years. But he never let it show. If you watch any interview with him during the last few years, he looked great and he was always full of cheer and enthusiasm.
I wonder if he completed his work on Terminator 4. Unfortunately, it looks like T4 will be his last project.
Stan was one of the few master craftsmen who was keeping practical effects alive, in an era where more and more effects are being done with CGI. What a tragic loss for the special effects industry.
Rest in peace, Stan.

Oh man - what a loss!
I've probably seen more behind the scenes documentaries on special FX that feature his work-in-progress than actual films.
When I went to the link, I immediately recognized him. Leave it to a guy like me to actually recognize FX artists the way most people recognize movie stars.
Rest in peace, Stan Winston. Your amazing work will live on forever as will the inspiration you have given both movie audiences and those who aspire to follow in your footsteps.
