Hi all, just picked up a copy of this game and its fantastic! One of the key points is that you can race people online! So I've come here to post my Mario Kart Wii number so if any of you guys have it here add me and give me your number! I'll see if I can beat your lap times

Sweet. I'll probably be gettin' it any day now and I'll add you. How's the online, lag-wise? I know Brawl could get pretty bad sometimes. I'll be destroying you soon!

Its fantastic with the wheel, when I actually get the wheel off my gf lol. So I just use the wiimote on its own. From what I can tell there is no lagg or none that i`ve noticed.

Sweet. I know Medal of Honor Heroes 2 also had minimal lag, as well..
Also, a few weeks ago Nintendo said that it was also compatible with the Gamecube controller and the Classic Controller, but with "some missing features". Any idea what these "missing features" are? 
I also hear that you can use the Wiimote/nunchuck config, where you use the Wiimote for accel. and so on and the Nunchuck for steering. How does that work out?

You can do any mode online, Grand Prix, time trial, battles. You can use any controler yes, the deatures left out are the motion senstive features. I did try the Nunchuck config but found it to be rather hard to control. The basic WiiMote set up is fantastic couldn't fault it.
One of my fav things about it is there are alot of Tracks from the old Mario Karts going back as far as the SNES.
