I agree. Dillinger's plot fits in within the voice, even though the voice acting in the game had a more severe English accent. I have that recorded btw, I've been working on several additives to "recycle" and "resurrect" the art used in digitization (fan made music vid), not that I improved it, more or less got bored with the current technology that explains it, and made a video.. It's been long discussed back when TRON 2.0 first came out about who the man behind the camera was.
There has never been any doubt in my mind that it was Dillinger.
Dillinger stole Flynn's game programs and used them to gain notoreity in the company and then rise through the ranks to become the Senior Exec.
MCP was programmed by Dillinger to appropriate any and all data that it could, but Dillinger was described by Flynn as "not all that bright but very sneaky".
The CEO of F-con is buying up control of Encom because it wants the digitization tech and is creating a trained army of users able to handle being digitized and armed with weapons to take over systems and hence the world.
Now Dillinger was never digitized and I doubt he would have details of Flynn's time in the system. So this is the one thing that would make me think that FLYNN was the F-con CEO. He would know how to train people to handle themselves in the system. However there is an old email you can find in the encom system from Flynn where he tells Alan that he is moving on to "grenner pastures". Another email shows Alan trying to contact Flynn at an old personal email address to alert him about the takeover. This to me tells me that Flynn is happily retired and I can't see him as wanting world conquest.
Also the strategy guide for TRON 2.0 gave a synopsis of post movie events and it showed Dillinger fled and was never brought to justice. He was never in prison.
So yes, given all that plus that email where the CEO says he's waited 20 years for this, it can only be Dillinger. It can't be the MCP, even if was a backup program, the MCP would have to be recoded to run on the newer systems and I doubt Dillinger would be all that trusting of another version of the MCP.
It's Dillinger.

Maybe all will be solved after TR2N comes out and the sequel to TRON 2.0 is released on everything shortly after.

Yeah, if they do another TRON game, then I sure hope they get better actors. I could've done a better job than most of them (except for the MAIN characters of course), and I'm nothing at all.

I believe the person to be Dillinger, but I hate how they had a diffrent person doing the voice. I mean if they wanted him to sound like Dillinger, why did'nt they actually work hard and find someone who sounded like him?
I remember them contacting David Warner to do the voice of Sark & The MCP in KH2. I honestly think that if they did'nt contact him to do the voice of Dillinger in TRON 2.0, then they must either be really lazy or really scared to ask him.
I know he is scarey, but he can't be THAT frightening...

It's likely they knew it was futitle to contact David Warner as David Warner doesn't seem to like the fact that he was in Tron at all...
Which is pretty sad, but ah well, some people simply don't like the movies that they have appeared in.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

I don't understand...
I remember how Square Enix or Disney contacted David Warner to come back and provide his voice for Sark and the MCP in Kingdom Hearts 2. He said he would have done it, but he was busy with another project.
But then again, Christopher Eccelston hates being typcasted and tries his best at staying away from Doctor Who. Same with the RoboCop fella.

That was a polite way of saying he wasn't interested.
I'm sure they've approached David Warner every time (Tron 2.0, Kingdom Hearts 2, Tron sequel). And he turned them down the first two times. So it doesn't look too likely that he'd change his mind now, for the sequel.
I don't understand, either. Why he doesn't like Tron any more. Maybe he never liked it to begin with, but back when he did it he was praising it. Now in his later years, he despises it.
He's said that it wasn't a highlight of his acting career. But I could name several other roles he's played since that weren't exactly stellar, either. Yet, he was willing to do those and doesn't speak badly of them. Go figure.

Well, a lot of actors probably have to promote a movie they're in by contract, no matter how much they hate it.

I remember Bruce Boxleitner saying in an interview how he had "written off TRON years ago", referring to how it failed at the box office, I believe. He's fine with it now, and even appreciates how amazing the film is, even though it did poorly (or so it seemed in the interview).
Perhaps David Warner has a bit of the same going on in him. Maybe he was very excited about TRON while making it and even for a while afterward and then in retrospect, began to hate it because of its dismal performance with most audiences. Just guessing because I don't know the time frame of when he started disliking it. But it seems logical. Then again, I look back on creative things I did years ago that I thought were awesome at the time and now wonder what the hell I was thinking. It happens.

Yup, you're right TheReelTodd. Bruce Boxleitner admitted that, for a long time, he didn't care for Tron either. It was just another job to him.
But, two things made him re-evaluate his position. One, was working on Babylon 5. It made him appreciate science-fiction, which he originally wasn't a fan of. The other, was when he had children coming up to him for autographs and asking him to sign their Tron memorabilia. They were excited because he was in Tron, and not anything else he did.
It's great that Bruce changed his mind, but still a shame that David Warner won't also reconsider.
