No underscore on the TDCG file. I've also tried removing the game, but everytime I reinstall I tell it to delete all profiles and saves. After the install I still have all the old settings and profiles.

I removed everything (after several tries) starting the K:APP first and now its working fine. No more errors.

Probably because you just installed Tron 2.0 in Vista or 7 and are not running the game in Administrator mode. I'll repeat the notice in the first post (I just made it stand out more).

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you just did a fresh install of TRON 2.0 on Vista or Windows 7, make sure you are running the game in Administrator mode. Otherwise, the game will not create certain files the mod needs to install. You will get a "TRON 2.0 has not been run before" error when attempting to install the mod. To prevent this: Right click the TRON 2.0 shortcut icon, choose Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and put a checkmark in the "Run this program as an administrator" box. Then run the game at least once. The game may also crash with a Client MFC error after the mod has been installed if Administrator mode is not enabled.

Okay, I think I have a fix for you and anyone else who installed the mod right after installing the game on Vista/7. Otherwise, you'll have to re-install the game, run it in Administrator mode first, then install the mod again.

Download this file. Save it to your hard drive, desktop, wherever you can easily find it. Click (or double click) it. When the UAC and Regedit nags show up, always say Yes to allow this registry script to do its thing.

Run the game launcher and click Play. You should see the launcher ask you what Detail level you want to run the game at. Select High Detail (I'm sure your system can handle it since you appear to be playing Bad Company 2).

When the game runs you should no longer get a black screen or whatever, but the resolution will be wrong. Quit the game.

Run the Windows Notepad text editor. Go to File, then Open. Change the drop-down on the right side from Text Documents (*.txt) to All (*.*). Navigate to your Tron 2.0 folder. It should be at "C:\Program Files\Buena Vista Interactive\Tron 2.0". It could also be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Buena Vista Interactive\Tron 2.0". Look for the file display.cfg and open it.

Edit the "screenwidth" and "screenheight" lines to the resolution you want, and save.

That should do it.
