You may need a new hdd, first. What tests have you tried? such as chkdsk, or running MBSA 2.1 from microsoft to see if there's something out of sync.. @Jademz_I've checked the HDD with a few other computers/laptops and it works fine. My bios eventually started displaying an error telling me to check the ribbon connector/cable for the hard drive. I went ahead and checked it, but it wasn't damaged, dirty or loose. Now it doesn't show anything at all or let me into bios mode. Kind of wierd situation really. I went ahead and ordered a new one, but since it's out of stock who knows when I'll actually get it(if they still make them of course. Which would suck if they don't).

Edit: Man, I hope I can hope my laptop turns out fine by the end of the summer. On other hand I've been wanting a new computer for a couple years now. I really need decent graphics for Maya.
