I don't take pills. The only thing I've taken for the last eight years is nothing more than asprin if I need too. However, I've been having major indigestion lately (been eating spicy foods alot) and my sister said I should take this Zantac stuff.
Is there anyone who's taken it? Is it dangerous with side effects or something? Sorry for being paranoid but I just don't trust pills these days (or vaccinations for that matter).

I've never taken Zantac, but I read somewhere that if you take 150 of them all at once can cause one's stomach to explode. This usually results in death of the person, but sometimes, if their abdominal muscles are strong enough, just a really, really, really loud and obnoxious fart.
I don't recommend taking 150 of these pills. It just sounds too dangerous.
Sorry - just in a weird mood, but then what else is new?
I'd just say do your research and read up about it and its side effects. Good luck with your indigestion problems. BTW - it gets worse as you get older, so you may just be getting the first signs of "I can no longer eat anything I want because my stomach is fighting back." It happens.

Or one maddening rush of diarea in the toliet when taking that much. I could just imagine hearing that and having the guy or gall going oh no not again and to justs keeps on going .

Well it's the OTC stuff right? I haven't tried the 150, being that the 75 has cured any stomach problems I am having. I only suggest it for severe indigestion problems. If you're just bloated or have bad gas, I suggest Gas-X.
I swear by Zantac75 though. It almost instantly stops any indigestion issues I am having.

Well.. I took it and it was so freaking amazing. I don't have acid reflex often, but when I do it almost feels like I have strep or something. It runs in the family. All my sisters have it and we rarely eat spicy foods (but I do eat lots of tacos :P)
But it works really good. I swear by it now..

I may sound like a conspiracy theorist but I'm not and after you've read the book I have, you'll agree with me.

Also, acid reflux diseas is not a disease, it's just that foods actually can cause an ABSCENCE of acid which makes you feel like this. Take an antacid and it fixs that.

Now you make think this is just another hippiefied "all natural" kinda thing that doesn't actually work. It's not, trust me.

the foods that cause acid reflux are breads, and cereals, also, orange pulp, to name the worste types of food.
