You should see the size of our mosquitoes!

Great pictures, Astrozombbie! Hope you're enjoying your stay in our country. I've never been to B.C., but I've been across Ontario, and once took trips to Saskatchewan and Manitoba. I really enjoyed my stay out West. So much less hectic than in Toronto.

Wow - awesome photos of Vancouver, Astrozombbie!!! Some of them are almost postcard-like.

LOVE the spider on your shoulder!

I've been to Canada dozens of times, but never much farther in than the typical Niagara Falls area. We used to go to an amusement part called Mapleleaf Village every summer when we were kids - my cousins and I. They had one of those huge Ferris Wheels there - the kind you could see from a few miles away. The amusement park was taken down years ago and later a casino built in its spot.

Enjoy your stay in Vancouver, Astrozombbie!!!

It looks so beautiful!

You need to come farther north, Todd! Niagra Falls is beautiful, but you need to visit a place like Algonquin Park. It's even more beautiful up there.

And I guess Toronto isn't too bad, either. As far as large cities go. Though it seems it get a little less friendly, and a little more grimy, every time I head down there.

I've been to the States a few times. The furthest south I've been is Virginia. I've only been on the east coast, never ventured into the west. Most of my trips in the past have been to Buffalo and Rochester. I've only been in Pennsylvania, D.C., and Virginia once each. I'd like to travel more one of these days . . . back to the U.S., more in Canada, and more in Europe for starters. I've been to England once, and to Germany a few times.

You know, thinking back, I have been further across the border than just the Niagara Falls area. I have family in Canada and we stayed at their house briefly way back in 1981 or so. They've moved since (don't remember specific location off-hand, but more woodsy) but they lived in a nice neighborhood in a suburb outside Toronto I think. It may have been a suburb of another Ontario city though. Was a long time ago and don't remember much about it other than the long car drive.

Haven't been to Canada in over a decade now. I don't travel much these days. Don't have the time for it and I really just don't like long trips, perhaps because of personal lack of time though.

If my life ever lightens up and I happen to find myself with more time on my hands and greater resources at my disposal, I'll probably do some light traveling - to places I can reach by car without spending more than a handful of hours to get there. If I ever make it rich somehow and find myself with my own personal jet, then I might extend my reach a bit farther. Just dreaming with that one though.

You've done a lot more traveling than I. I've only been to a few different states (not including the ones driven through to reach them) and never to Europe. Been as far west as Arizona (lived there in the early 70's) and as far south (on east coast) as Virgina. Been to DC a few times. Rochester - I live just outside the city. Only been to Buffalo a handful of times. Used to have family there, but they moved long ago.

Back to Canada - when I was a kid, my family had our picture taken in one of those cheesy tourist shops where they have a fake barrel going over fake falls. The photo doesn't even look close to real, but it was fun to do when I was a kid. I wonder if I still have it around somewhere. It was taken in '80 or '81. I bet everyone who's ever been to Niagara Falls has a photo like that (or used to).
