I jsut bought this on reccomendation from a friend and i love it!
TRON 2.0 is a blast, but in the light cycle arena, the regular light cycles only display as white chasis with no wheels. The super light sysle displays fine. functionality is fine, it jsut looks....odd.
So I googled you guys up and was hoping you could point me to a fix.
systems specs are:

Hi Rikarus, and welcome to Tron-Sector.
It would help if you provided more details of your computer's specs. (Based on your processor, it sounds like you're playing the game on a laptop.)
My first guess is that the problem you're having has to do with your video driver in Windows. What video card/chip do you have? You should try updating to the latest driver for your video card/chip and see if it helps.

Yeah - TRON 2.0 IS a blast! I was addicted to that game for weeks after I first bought it, and then found myself drawn to the online multilayer light cycle game grid for years after that! What great times I've had in this game - both in the first person adventure and online with the friends I'd meet on the game grid.
I'm sure TronFAQ will be able to steer you in the right direction with your light cycle display glitch after you provide a little more info about your system. Good luck with that, program.

Yeah the game is a blast to play in either single or light cycle and disk arena. WHat other specs do you have for your computer. Just the processor alone is no enough. How much ram, hard drive, Video specs as well. Are you running with the latest service packs on both the game and your windows environment. And which windows environment are you using over there. Is it a desktop or laptop. Sounds with just the CPU alone it on a laptop itelf.. Call me a geek here on hardware. We need to get more information that just that. And how fast is your Processor?

all video drivers are current.

Hmm, okay. So you're playing on a desktop after all. (A Pentium M on a desktop is somewhat unusual, though not unheard of.) And you say you're using the latest video driver.
One thing I can suggest is creating a profile in your nVidia control panel for Tron 2.0, and change both Anti-Aliasing and Anisotrpic Filtering to the lowest settings possible, then run the game. See if that makes any difference.
Another, is to turn off the sidebar in Vista if you haven't already. I've heard that turning off the sidebar can sometimes solve weird glitches in games on Vista.

right on. I'll try it, I am on a laptop an XPS M170, love the thing, its the first time I ever ran into any gaming troubles. Certainly appreciate the friendlieness and assistance gents!
The weird thing is the super light cycle displays fine.

So you do have a laptop. The "Geforce GTX 7800" part confused me into thinking you had a desktop. Turns out there's a Geforce Go 7800 GTX, which is what you have. So my initial hunch was right in the first place.
BTW, if there's an option to completely disable AA and AF, try that too.
