keeping high score in my tron game

on Tuesday, August, 14, 2007 11:35 PM
I just recently received a cocktail tron game. (sweet!)
But everytime I unplug the game or turn it off I lose my
high score. That didn't used to happen when I was a kid at different arcades. Anyone know a little bit about some battery pack or something like that?
thanks

Take a look inside if you can see either a nickel Cadium pack on there somewhere on the circuit boards. Sounds familiar to like some of the old oiginal computers that I used to use. It might be a battery there that needs replacing. I would have to find the pdf's over here for the cocktail or any other tron arcade game here. Once of the others might help you on that who may know more than I do.

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Are you SURE the Tron machines you played as a kid remembered high scores? Not all arcade games did.

Otherwise, like Compucore said, check the circuit boards for some kind of battery pack, it probably needs replacing.

Remember the Sienfeld where George couldn't unplug the Frogger machine or it would wipe out his high score?

This is all related to the batteries. My machines forget scores if the batteries are not charged up over a long period of time. I have noted that if I leave it plugged in for a few days it's OK, but since this is a 25 year old machine I don't like to leave it plugged in all the time.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

This si true Davetron. And correct me if I am wrong on this. The batteries for the machine to keep the high scores are probably no longer being made. Or its extremely rare to find a replacement for them right.

There is a replacement power kit you can get to get around these problems. Look in some of the old threads here and you'll find it covered.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
