Great video find, Qix77.
Sadly, in my C64 days, I didn't have many games for it. Only a handful of arcade classics and some cheap-o games that were not nearly as cool looking as many of the games I've seen videos for in recent times.
It's cool to see them now. If only I had the chance to enjoy them back in the day. I feel like I really missed out.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

The music in that video is pretty amazing, it's almost hard to believe the SID chip could do that. The engineers did a great job on the chip. |
Those were definitely remixes. My C64 never put out anything close to that kind of music
Funny, the only two I ever played out of that whole list was Commando and Way Of The Exploding Fist. I'm disappointed Parallax didn't make it in there.

Yeah.. There were a lot of great games that wasn't in there. My all time C64 favs are Bruce Lee, Raid Over Moscow, Tetris, Master Of The Lamps, Archon, Karataka, and so many more. |

That game had a little Tron kinda section to it, where you had to throw discs at a robot. It was pretty akin to "Discs Of Tron".

I really should get myself a C64 emulator and poke around in it. To see what I was missing.

Let me suggest 'Vice'. It's easy to use and you also get emus for other Commodore computers like the 128, 16, PET, etc...
Here is a link....

As for games... nobody has made any attempts to stop the C64 games from being posted and downloaded... so there isn't anything unlawful about it till the SPA or someone wants to be dorks... which they never had towards C64 game.
There are many good sites that you can download from, but here are my two favs:
http://www.lemon64.com/
http://www.c64.com/
Also, check out Retro Gaming Radio if you have about an hour to spare. The host is always talking about the C64. Good stuff.

Cool, Stunt Car Racer has an 8.35 rating on that Lemon64 site. Well deserved. It was a cool game and I've wished for an updated version with newer technologies for a long time now. There's just something about racing around at break-neck speeds on a race track a hundred feet up in the air with massive jumps and no walls to save you from going off the track. Although, now that I look at the screenshots, I think I must've had the Amiga 500 version I remember it having better graphics. Therefore, I recommend the Amiga version instead order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Ahh... Yes.. very tron inspired for that level...
It's one of my fav cold war games that use to scare the crap out of me back-in-the-day. A very eerie concept, but one with a little more hope than Missile Command.
Strange that I bring it up because me and a few old friends were drinking beer earlier talking about ICBMs and 300+ nukes hitting the US and UK from the Soviets, what the effects would be (I'm about 100+ miles away from St. Louis). It's a good thing it didn't happen.
We don't get the 'Destroy-the-world' games today that could be on a practical level like we did back then.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion |

The city I live in (Tucson) had ICBM silos all around us in the 80's. You can still see the remnants of them on the sat images on Google. There's still an intact one you can tour.
So, if WWIII erupted we would have been vaporized. Which is probably a good thing. Who'd want to live in a post nuclear war world?

lol.. Me, Mutoidman, and TheReelTodd sort of talked about it when I did my Nitro game review.
The 80's headbanger concept was that we would all look like Snake Blisken (from Escape from NY) and race cars in cities that were bombed. Kind of like the movie 'Road Warrior'.. lol... Of course we would all have been dead if not for the blast but the radiation.... but it was the 80's and our strangest dreams didn't come to past.. lol...
I do have to say that the Cold War did put everyone in their place. No one screamed and shouted about non offensive crap like the wimps of today did because everyone knew we had bigger issues.
Three words that the kiddies don't understand today: RESPECT, HONOR, and RESPONSIBILITY.... Shame that our world has became so disgusting...
Ok.. I'm so sorry for rambling... Its a sign that I'm becoming a grouchy geezer.. lol....

Heh...Well, living just a hair away from dead center in the New York metropolitan area - that is to say, just across the Hudson river in good ol' New Jersey - I'm sure life wouldn't have a been a bowl of radioactive mutant cherries for me, either.
But, if we did survive, it would've been Mad Max time!!!

That's the prime target for everything because it's the most populated. During 9-11, everyone here was scared to death because our country was under attack. So tragic. ... but we couldn't comprehend what you guys had to go through. It was like something happening in our neighbor's yard, but you guys suffered it because it was in your yard. Scary stuff, I hope it never happens again. Be safe.
See.. that is another thing that was good about the Cold War is that things like that never happened. No country was going to challenge the freedom fighters because the USSR wasn't a good alternative. I'm not praising the US, UK, and other super friends for being dominate but I just was pointing out the fact that there were real serious issues in the world back then.... and 'Road Warrior' rocked so hardcore.. lol
OK... to get back on subject. Here is a list of C64 games everyone should try out... It's not complete but it's somewhere in my top 20..
Bruce Lee
B.C. Quest
Aztec Challenge
Raid Over Mosscow (if you have problems playing this, let me know and I'll be happy to help)
Archon
The Ratts
Karataka
Space Taxi
Lode Runner (Yep.. Todd gots vidoes)..
Hight Noon
BallBlazer
Beach Head 2
Commando (excellent music)
Tetris (best music ever)
Break Street
Caveman Ugh Olympics
Summer Games
Winter Games
David's Midnight Magic (Pinball)
Druid
Final Assault
Master of the Lamps
Zack Mc Cracken
Goonies (2nd best movie game compared to the number 1 best Tron 2.0)
Impossible Mission
Hacker
........... wow... the list goes on.. so many awesome games and not enough time to list them all... Get the emulator, get the games, and let me know what you think... C64 is the place to be.... Go 80's

What would have truly been hell is like that scene in the Family Guy where they come upon an idyllic scene only to have it turn into a nightmare when Randy Newman won't stop singing and playing the piano.
