Most of you should have a favorite game that you consider scary, so post your fav here!
My fav? Clive Barker's Undying.
You play as an Irish WW1 veteran named Patrick Galloway, you are summoned to a mansion by an old friend called Jeremiah Covenant who asks you to investigate strange happenings in the mansion, during the game you will have to face off against strange monsters and Jeremiahs undead siblings, who all died in grotesque ways.
Alot of the game's horror comes from the characters ability to cast a spell which allows him to view events that have happened in the past, most of them being grotesque in nature.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill |

My favorite disturbing gaem is Conker's Bade Fur Day.
That's right.
Conker.
The cute little squirrel that was rated G++ now has a sexy girlfriend, drinks, and goes to war. Lot of blood, gore, and language.
For instance.
In the war, you fight the Tediz.
That's right, Tediz.
Teddy bears that look like Frankenstein created them.
And, they're ruthless killers.
BUT DURING THE WAR, YOU DISCOVER THEIR SECRET. O.O
BTW, the whole game is not about war. There are many different levels. War is just my favorite.
And,
Predictably,
The Tediz spew stuffing when killed.
Best of all, there's Multiplayer, wher you can 'Spray his @$$ everywhere' with a bazooka or something.
Rated M.
For Nintendo 64.

I didn't like Doom III for most of it (too dark and the same ol same ol Mars Base most of the time).... but the Hell portion of it was just plain aweseome. Plenty scary and disturbing.

The White Chamber all the way.
I've mentioned this game several times before, but i'll do so once more.
It's created by Studio Trophis, an Independent company that hails from the UK.
The White chamber is a point and click game which can be downloaded for free from their site. it had a distinct animé styling to it, which gives it extra marks in my book.
STORY
[taken from the trophis website...mostly]
the story revolves around a nameless woman, who wakes up to find herself in a strange glowing coffin, in the middle of a dark room. Who is she? What is this place? Why is she here? As she explores the warped environment she finds herself trapped within, she must search for answers, all of which will lead her closer and closer to the white chamber and the truth it holds.
my opinion:
I havn't played many scary games, so I don't really have anything to relate to, but the general ambiance of the surroundings [and in particular the events that get triggered] scared me rotten.
there's one part where this woman finds herself collecting severed body parts from around various areas, bringing them all to a medical bay and arranging them on a bed, only to come back later to see the exact same corpse had moved into the quarantine bay next door. when investigating further, the woman and the corpse somehow switch places, leaving her stuck in the quarantine bay and the corpse to squelch off down a corridor.
there's a fer other parts that spooked me up good, but that was the scariest thing, particularly collecting the head...
if you've seen the movie event horizon, it's a bit like that.

I really enjoyed the remake of Resident Evil for the GameCube. I played through it several times and even though I knew what to expect around the next corner, it was still creepy, gross, and even a little disturbing at times. Oddly enough, I really enjoyed those elements.
I also liked Eternal Darkness a lot, also for GameCube. It was sadly lacking in the graphic department, which was disappointing, but conceptually it was a great game with some very creepy and cool themes going on. There was even a VERY cool feature in the game where the character can "loose sanity" when in the presence of the evil creatures. They ingeniously passed along the loss of sanity to the player of the game. So both your character AND you tend to loose sanity and it manifests itself in some very confusing and amusing ways. Got a GameCube? I recommend this game JUST for that feature alone. It's a cool game too with some good replay value.
Both games are best when played alone and in a dark house. My wife is aware of this and made it a point to quietly sneak in the house a few times and scare the f---ing CRAP out of me while playing! I still owe her for that! where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Okay, this is kinda sad, but there is one part in the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess that literally gives me goosebumps and sends chills up my spine.
...
It must be the music. If you've played it, you know what I'm talking about.

There are only like two games that I consider scary, but there are a lot of games that have a horror them that I think is cool.
Scary Games:
Aliens Vs Predator 2 (when you play the human levels).
F.E.A.R. (mainly due to the unexpected appearance of that weird little girl).
Most games with a scary them are either over done or just really sick.
Cool Games With a Horror Theam:
11th Hour and 7th Guest
The early Castlevaina games
Ghosts and Goblins and sequels.
Splatter House 2
Doom series
Heretic and Hexen
Blood 3D
Prey (I don't really call it a horror theam)
American McGee's Alice
There is many more cool games with a horror theam that I can't think of right now.
I never really liked the Resident Evil games. I know there are many out there that are in love with the series but zombies just isn't my thing. I believe that it's time to move on from the zombie and Natzi games and make something else with in those two genres... but thats just me.

I know what you mean, Cam.
Back when I first had an N64, My sister got Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time. And let me tell you, I was FREAKED OUT by something as simple as the redeads, let alone Monster Ganondorf. Back then, I would even run SCREAMING from the room if my sister so much as unearthed this one gray mask. Shudder. Mental Sector |

Wallmasters, Floormasters, I can't remeber which. It's the giant hand that drops from the ceiling, sucks your life out, and throws you back at the entrance. And that's why I hate the Forest Temple.
