Me and the father unit have come to a decision, he's going to buy me a car early so we can fix it up and turbo charge it and such. However, we can't decide on a car. So far our picks are:
Oldesmobile '71
Oldesmobile '71 convertable
DeLorean
Shelby Mustang
Saleen (maybe)
We found some good models on ebay that are pretty well priced ( $10,000 - $30,000 [excluding Saleen])
So far it's been sounding like the Delorean. It's the cheapest, and it's going to be the hardest to work with. (For the non-car enthusiasts: Deloreans and not really that good of cars and they break down occasionally and we are probably going to change the inside completely)
Well, what do you think?

A DeLorean far better if you rebuild it yourself and customized it to the way you want it and its passes inspection by the local government for road safety. with a nice v-6 or v-8 engine fuel injection, large enough alternator, fiber optic inlay for the seating. Laptop docking station hook up tronish dash board, manual or automatic tranny depending on what you prefer. blower injector. pos-tran 6-speed tran if it is a manual.
I think I should have stayed in shop class on something like this.
