Were any of the other children of the 80's *VERY* disappointed that The Police only reunited on the Grammy's for ONE SONG? They should have done three... or four.......... it's the police for cryin' out loud!!!

I just hope that the price of their concert tickets isn't out of my reach. I've always regretted that I never got the chance to see them before they broke up, and I'd like the opportunity to rectify the situation.

They said on the interview I was listening to that the "low end" range would be around $100. Considering I paid that for Reba MacIntyre (not my choice.. it was a gift!), I would consider that a gonga! |

I can live with a 'C' note.
And hey, Reba's a great singer. It wouldn't be disparaging to you at all if you had paid that to see her yourself. "We are, after all, not God." - Cmdr. J. J. Adams "C is for cookie. I'm not into country at all, so I was really just along for the ride. However, what totally ruined that concert was that our seats were next to the area outside of the normal seating where all the smoking, drunk people congregated. So they puffed smoke (I counted four different kinds. Cigarette, Cigar, Pot and Cloves) in our faces and screamed obnoxiously throughout Reba's WHOLE set. It never let up. $200 down the drain, but a very important lesson learned.
I did, however, enjoy Brad Paisley's set when they did instrumentals. That dude can REALLY play his guitar.

Well i may not be a child of the 80's or even part of the generation x but i am a BIG fan of the police and other bands from the 80's, 70's, 60's, and 50's. Anyone know the song by the police on any other day thats one of my personal favorites by them! Hey and whats up with sting saying we're the police and were back i mean does this mean they are REALLY back or is it just the tour and then sting goes off to do an album with pan pipes and wood winds? I mean are they just in it for the money or will they stay together and make some new albums?!

On the XM interview I was listening to, that question was asked twice.
The first time, they just came back with some silly response... the second time the XM radio feed cut out, so I didn't hear their answer. So... I don't know.
However, my guess would be this tour is just going to be old Police music. As for another Police album, we should see if they can all survive a tour without killing each other (although I hear most of the tensions were Sting vs. Stewart.)

That sucks.
I'm so glad that lawmakers are banning smoking from ever more public places. There's nothing worse than trying to enjoy a meal or a movie and having to choke on some ignorant, ill-mannered, selfish asswipe's fetid smoke. "We are, after all, not God." - Cmdr. J. J. Well, looks like I'm not going. The Phoenix tickets sold out within hours of them going on sale, and I was unaware (even though ticketmaster was supposed to notify me) that they were even on sale.
