NoExcuses Wrote:In the London Science Museum, there used to be an exhibit full of old arcade games (I don't know if it's still on). I never got the chance to go, but I remember seeing it on the news, where they interviewed kids about the old arcade games, who mainly said things along the lines of them being old and boring with no story and looking crap, and new games are better because they look real.
I'd have loved to go - it would have been awesome! |
I guess it's final then.... Old school gamers like me are a dying breed... What will the world do without Pac-Man, Joust, Qix, and Gyruss???
In Sept. in my town, we hold an Arcade Supper Show out by the mall... A bunch of arcade collectors (mainly pinball) will bring their games for the two day event. It's pretty cool. Last year I brought my Gyruss and Bride of Pinbot. It was fun. Someone brought a Dragon's Lair and I played it for hours.... Dirk the Daring rocks...
