Extreme-G Series

on Saturday, October, 21, 2006 2:31 AM
Anyone hear ever played or heard of the game Extreme-G for the N64? (Or any ot it's sequels on other systems) I think alot of you lightcycle nuts would like this game because you race TRON-inspired futuristic bikes through rollercoaster-like tracks. It's a neat blend of Mario-Kart and F-Zero because you go fast and you get weapons to blow the other guys up. To bad there's no "light trail and turn at right angles" mode.

So if you have an N64 lying around, dust it off, buy this game for like $5 at EBGames or whatever. Best $5 I ever spent. (Or $6 in my case cause I needed a memory pak as well. Buying outdated stuff for cheap rocks!)

EDIT: Oops, had some bugs in my spelling subroutine.

It all looks so easy on the other side of the screen!

This sounds familure....

What I miss a lot is WipeOut XL. I had it for the PC and I think it was one of the best racing games ever made.... great music too....

I'll have to check out Extreme-G sometime. Sounds like a cool racing game. Thanks for sharing.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Man, this post brought back some memories...

It takes be back to a time when me and my brother used to rent games from the Movie King and Blockbuster almost every week. We'd oftentimes pick racing games or side scrolling bet-em-ups (like Final Fight and Streets of Rage) so we could play together. It was sort of like a bonding ritual for us to spend our Saturdays parked in front of the TV with our console.

But I digress..

Now to get back on topic, I do remember playing Extreme G many moons ago in the time described above. It was a pretty good racing game, I even remeber a few cheats for it. For example, try changing your name to "roller" or "fisheye"
