88MPH Artwork

on Wednesday, August, 30, 2006 1:50 AM
I was poking around on Wikipedia looking for Tron related stuff when I saw this link for the artist on the failed Tron comic there:

http://www.gabebridwell.com/projects_tron.html
http://www.gabebridwell.com/tron_gallery.html

Definitely different looking than the Slave Labor effort. More cartoonish, but still very interesting to look at.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

It's been done, but it's a good refresher.

You can always use the search option to look for 88MPH or Bridwell and you'd find the threads related to it already.

Ah, there's the search link. :-)

Am I the only one that thinks, besides being a nifty story idea, that this world is a handy way to visualize the electrons and endless bits of code that run our lives these days?

I was working on a Core Data bug for the past couple days. I had 315 objects with 87 dangling references (starting out small, soon to be thousands). I had to write a specialized consistency checker to ferret out the problem. If I could have just seen the damn things, I'd have seen the problem in 2 seconds. I think it's still just too much of an open ended problem.

I was very happy with what the artists did, Gabe worked hard on details, Blond's coloring was amazing. However to be honest if I were to redo it all I would definitively do something different. I prefer the original Tron universe as opposed to the Tron 2.0 universe.

I haven't read SLG's issues yet (can't find them anywhere it's all sold out) but I'm happy that fans are digging it.

I also wish that Disney could do a sequel to the game but a sequel to the movie ? I'm not too sure on that one. It can go bad a milion different ways, and only one good way.

Thanks

Don't destroy! I'll take some!! Just sent you an email titled "88MPH posters" from my Gmail account. (I won't send you a Personal Message using the Tron-Sector service because the service isn't secure. Not sure if you've seen, but sometimes other people can login as you here at the Sector.) Hope to hear from you soon~

I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the thread where we talked about Bridwell's artwork seemingly ripped off by Disney for use on the box cover for the GameBoy version of Tron 2.0. Tried a few different searches to no avail.

What? Nooooo . . . you can't destroy them! That would be a crying shame. I'll definitely take one of each kind off your hands (if there is more than one).

I'll send you an e-mail about it. And I hope that other people grab them too, rather than going into the trash.

Sebastien,

I'd be happy to pay for you to send me what's left and we can offer it up to fans here on TRON Sector. Please don't destroy them.

I have an extra copy of Issue 1 of the SLG series, you want it?

I wouldn't mind one either Seb. I know we are close to each other I think at least in the same province. I could pick it up where you are if its not too far away.

I've never had much luck with the search function here either. I think it only scans posts that have been made in the last couple months. I've never had anything older then that show up in a search.
