Capturing interactive images

on Saturday, August, 26, 2006 7:31 PM
I've got a question I was hoping someone here could help me with.

Look at this page:

http://mathworld.wolfram.com/PentagonalIcositetrahedron.html
The first figure on the left is interactive. You can click on it and get it to rotate.

Or if you look at this page there are dozens of such interactive images.

Is it possible to capture these flash files or what ever they are? I have a side project that I'm working on that could make use of them but I don't know how to capture them.

Thanks,

It's actually Java, not Javascript. Javascript is actual HTML code, whereas Java is compiled into a class file. You'd have to have them send you the applet class file to run it offline.

I'm actually wanting to put them in a web page I'm thinking about making. I was hoping I could cut and paste what they did. Is it possible to copy their class file and put it into another web page?

I tried accessing the directory they specified as holding the class file, but was blocked, so they may have it set up that outside access to the code is not possible.
