The results are in!

Yes the results are in on the planet debate and we now only have 8 planets in our solar system! Thats right Pluto is no longer classed as a planet it has now been put in this new catagory called "Dwarf Planets" along with Ceres and 2003 UB313.

Check it out

Well, now some school textbooks need to be updated now but it's nice to see that Pluto is no longer a planet, since it was smaller than the Moon, and the Moon isn't even a planet so how can Pluto be one?where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

By that logic, Earth shouldn't be a planet either, because Jupiter is super huge, and we aren't the size of Jupiter.

I think the criteria that ultimately caused Pluto to lose its planet status, is bogus. The "clearing its orbit" argument doesn't wash.

Going by that, several other planets haven't cleared their orbits either. So will they lose their planet status too? No, of course not. That's why I think the decision that's been reached, is flawed.

So what would they classify Neptune as if it crossed the orbit of Jupiter? A very very big dwarf planet?

I know I mean Earth hasnt cleared its orbit I mean look up in the sky and you will see the MOON! clearly not a clear orbit is it? Comets and Asteroids pass us regularly is that clear?

Basically I think these guys just needed to justify the pay that there getting.

Thanks for hooking us up with the link. I hadn't heard this yet! 8 planets, huh!!?? Wow!

Yeah, I hope they have a slightly more detailed definition somewhere, because as it is read there, I also think that it might be flawed. What if there was an asteroid belt going through a Jupiter-like (or whatever) planet's orbit somewhere in the Universe. And what if there were numerous asteroids in that belt; and the belt stretched thousands or millions of light-years or some crazy thing. Each year that planet would end up going through the pathway of the belt; and each year it would hit new asteroids; but it would never clear it away. At least not for many many many years; or never. Are they saying it shouldn't be planet? Hmm...

I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^
