Check out this neat photo journal of a hummingbird nest someone watched. Very cool and cute. Hummingbirds grow really fast.

The clincher for me was the penny size comparison at the end *jaw drops!*

For many years as a young child I aspired to be an ornithologist. Sadly I had a high school guidance counselor convince to go in to something else .

Anyway... I love birds and really enjoyed the pics Sketch. Thanks for sharing!

Cool link Sketch!

Wow, that penny & toothpick size-comparison at the end really is amazing.

Has anyone actually seen a Hummingbird before, in real life? I had the privilege of seeing one, once. Those little guys are simply amazing. They move so fast, it's unbelievable.

Great pictures, Sketch. The penny comparison really drives home the message of how small they are.

I practice my photography with them in the backyard. I follow them around the yard and try to get good closeups of them hovering. I figure if I can get them, I can get anything.

We have one bird in our yard that the neighbor has named Mr. Buddy. He's a cute little guy. Buzzes me once in a while.

Wow, yeah. If you can get some nice shots of a hummingbird in motion, then you are definitely a good photographer.

Too bad I've only ever seen one, once. I guess the weather around here, isn't really warm enough year-round for them to want to hang around much. Either that, or we don't have the right plants in the neighborhood to attract them.

I'm pretty sure this was the little guy I saw.

We have LOTS of them back home. Being near a wooded area helps. Just get a hummingbird feeder and fill it with sugar water and they pratically swarm to them. My aunt in the mountians, she has her feeders on the porch and the hummingbirds will fly right up to them with your only a few feet away watching. It's neat when a whole group is at a feeder, producing a cool goup humming noise as they putter around. I remember I caught one back home when I was little, and even have a photograph my Dad took of it in a little cage I had at the time. Looking back, how the heck did I even catch it bare handed? Don't worry I released him later.

EDIT:
This photo off the net is similar in numbers to what one can get with a feeder back home.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion
