To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

I can't believe someone actually bid on and won that auction, paying over $1500 for that fake . . .

Not every species has reproductive organs that mimic ours. Lizards... fish.....insects. I don't think you can conclusively prove the non-existence of some fantasy creature based solely on its anatomy.

What throws a monkey wrench into something like the Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, and this thing is the lack of any other evidence of their species. Bones, anthropologic evidence... things that can be classed and studied scientifically. That doesn't discount personal belief though.

Something smells fishy. LOL!!! If I'm going to pay $1.5K for a Mermaid it better be alot sexier then that and even then I'd rather she be ALIVE!!!

You never know what you'll see on eBay do you? I've seen everthing from time machines to alien shit (literally).

To quote Fry from Futurama: "Why couldn't she be the other kind of mermaid, with the fish part on the top and the lady part on the bottom!?"

What throws a monkey wrench into the case for Bigfoot, at least, is the guy who dressed up in this Bigfoot suit for the related 1967 video admitted to doing just that (dressing up in a gorilla suit):

Man admits: I was 'Bigfoot' - Says famed footage depicts him in gorilla costume... http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=37507
Not sure if the above is a reliable news site, but to help corroborate, I remember hearing this story on local TV stations, etc. back in 2004.

Not that I dispute this was a hoax, but someone claiming to dress up like Bigfoot is not enough to disprove Bigfoot. It's the lack of scientific proof that is the clincher.

I know. But I think there was more to the story. Oh well... It was 2 years ago when I heard it.

Sorry Traahn. In looking at my reply I came across as snooty. I didn’t mean that. I was just having fun with the topic and getting on a soapbox. no offence intended, I was just hoping to make conversation.
