As a side note. At Barnes And Noble they had these little note pads with letters on them (supposed to be your initial, would be my guess) next to the cash register. So I rearranged three of them to spell "ASS". Hehhe. Again... so VERY mature.

Interesting subject.
I honestly CAN'T remember the first (& only?) time I ever saw TRON in the theatres. I just remember liking it.
However, I CAN remember the first time I tried to buy the soundtrack. Back then, audio cassettes were the thing. [Yeah, back in '82 & '83, vinyl records & audio cassettes were king and Compact Discs weren't even around yet as far as the general public was concerned.]
I was 12 or 13 and I went to one of my local music stores & told the (naturally older) girl working there that I wanted the TRON soundtrack on tape. God bless her, ha, ha, she gave me her advice, "Oh, no, that ones not that good. You should get this instead........." and proceeded to recommend another album on tape. Not being very assertive in my youth, I ended up leaving the music store without buying the TRON soundtrack like I had planned. Can't remember if I actually followed her advice & opted to buy something else.
I don't resent that gal, at least not anymore. I don't think badly of her. I think she was just trying to be nice.
Besides, I just won the TRON soundtrack on CD off of ebay & have already sent out payment. Thus, it should only be a matter of days before the soundtrack & I FINALLY become friends. Ha, ha.
Weird story, maybe, but I figure my fellow Tron fans here would appreciate it.
