There are a lot out there it all depends on what you want to do with them. A couple that comes to mind over here. Here is a small listing that I know of off the top of my hand over here. And one is popular for both windows and the linux wrld.

Belnder 3d Modeler
KPOVmodeler
Wings3d
3DStudioMax
Maya Unlimited
Autodesk (Popular for both windows and Linux I believe.)
QCad

3dstudiomax and Maya are the really heavy htters from what I could tell last time checking something like this out even from Descreet as well. There are literally a good number depend on which operating system you are using at home or at work. I am lucky enough that I have a couple here for my Ubuntu linux that I had downloaded and installed legally for doing that. But haven't used them yet to make any 3d rendering though. Haven't had the time to work with them yet. on either my Dapper drake or my Breexy Badger linux systems.

Autocad 2000I and quick cad ar on my windows environments over here. To make 2d/3d renderings over here.

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

There's also Lightwave. If you're looking for a career in 3-D modeling for video games and stuff, I'd probably recommend 3D Studio Max. I could be wrong, but it seems to currently be the more widely accepted/sought after program by employers looking for 3D artists.

I don't have experience w/ 3DSMax. I've heard Lightwave is a bit easier to learn, but in my opinion it's still a pain in the a$$ 3D modeling is not for the faint of heart; it's not like picking up a pen and drawing in a sketchbook. But if you decide to start 3D modeling, if you have patience and follow-through, you should be okay.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

True Space....

It's easy to use but it will confuse you if you switch to better 3D apps...

I use POV-Ray. Its free and it's also the closest thing out there that I'm aware of to what the folks at MAGI were using in terms of working with primitives, etc. Just about everybody else is using meshs and or point and click front ends.
