The idea that representations that only exist as a metaphor would be decommissioned and refitted to function in a lesser capacity (as in recognizers) is odd to me.
Awesome! I agree that already established Tron icons don't really need to be messed with or 'futurized'

I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^

Their website has #2 due out in July (in the New Releases section) with this description:

"The computer world is at war: the tyrannical Master Control Program has returned to power and seeks the absolute domination of the Free Systems. Now Jet Bradley, accused murderer and fugitive from reality, finds himself leading the rebellion against this oppressive regime. But as the battle rages, Jet's tenacious grip on sanity weakens."

So it's official. The MCP's coming back.
Backups?

Anyway, my stuff's on order from amazon.com, being held up by my order for the first issue of the comic book based on the Disney animated series Gargoyles. It was released last Wednesday, but amazon says it will still take 4-6 weeks to ship! :sigh:

At least you, lurkinghorror, are not exclaiming that the core fans must find a way to contact about 1000 people each about the comic, "only half-jokingly." I understand where Gargoyles creator Greg Weisman's coming from, but still... doesn't that strike you as rather desperate?

Maybe you should loan out whatever tool you used to restore ol' Master C to other Disney/SLG compatriots?

...wondering if any of the SLG/Disney comics will make it, now...

At least the Tron fandom seems rather larger than that of Gargoyles.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

The first issue of the Tron comic seemed to do quite well, both critically and commercially.

If there isn't a huge drop-off in sales for the second issue, then I think Tron's future at Disney will look a little brighter.

Nothing's official until the last issue is printed.

The second issue sales are in and they're alright. A drop, but a much smaller drop than expected.

I understand where Weisman is coming from. Gargoyles fans are vocal. The fanbase really is much larger than the Tron fanvbase. However, comic fans rarely order comic books. Comic retailers order comic books. And those people are more a part of the Tron generation then they are of the Gragoyles generation. This has made it more difficult to get Gragoyles in stores. I suspect though, that follow through sales and media attention will allows Gargoyles to catch up quite readily. But asking fans to push the comic? Nah. Not really my thing. If people like the work, I hope they will push it regardless. I can't blame Greg though. We all have our own approach to this difficult industry.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

When I had gotten my first copy of tron 2.0 I had asked the guy to make reservation for any others that are coming out when you have them in print. I am hoping that your getting ready for production run of the second issue. I can't wait to see the second issue already.

This might be obvious (I can be a little slow), but I was thinking that the restored, corrupted Jet IS the MCP. I was thinking that the MCP's knowledge of the electronic world coupled with the cognitive abilities of the human mind would make one bad-ass bad guy and something of a "MCP 2.0".

Now, what's the release date!?

We're still waiting on the last few pages of art. We hope to have it out before the end of August.

An interesting theory, which of course I can neither confirm nor deny.

Lurkinghorror, what did you mean by this statement?
The second issue sales are in and they're alright. A drop, but a much smaller drop than expected.
Almost gave me a heart attack; thinking I had missed the 2nd issue's release somehow?? Please confirm I didn't miss anything

Well We'll just have to get over there and help out there. Is it done electronically or is it all done by hand? I know that there are some comic boks are done electronicall before it hits the paper printers.
