I don't have an Apple ][e computer (yes, that's how it is supposed to be typed officially ) but I've got a vintage Apple //C computer. I bought it in 1985 with the money I was supposed to be saving for college. I got mine with the standard 9" green monochrome screen monitor and standard, substandard Apple software they shipped with. In time, I also bought a joystick, Apple mouse, several applications and games, and Epson 400 dot-matrix printer (actually, had that when I got my C64 a year or two earlier). I spent countless hours on that amazing 8-bit techno wonder! I used it regularly until about 1995. It is currently in storage in my basement. I last hooked it up about a year or so ago. It worked just fine! The color of the computer itself was a little off though, and the keyboard had gotten a little difficult to press because the springs under the keys (I think) are slowly corroding. They can be removed and the keys will work just fine - they're there to provide the click noise to the keys (stupid feature if you ask me), but I don't know how to remove them. Don't have the time to play with it these days anyway. But I've got it and STILL remember all the fun I had on it! Perhaps one day I can put together a proper and fitting display of my technologies of yesteryear.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

No. It came with (my //c that is) some basic utilities and a few very basic games. The utilities were a little different than the ][e ones, but did the same thing. Honestly, the Apple utilities were not all that advanced. I used to use another copy utility for my heavier copying needs... don't remember the name of it, but it would copy and entire disc in just two swipes of the disc, and several minutes faster than the //c copy utilities.

You had better get the hang of that thing before you wipe out another disc. It may be hard to find replacements for them these days. Back in the day (mid 80's) one only needed to ask around school. Now it is not that simple obviously.

Congrats on your new computer! Well . . . new, old computer!

I think it's cool that you're interested in older, retro items like the Apple ][e. A lot of younger people these days would take one look at it and go "boring" or "the graphics on this thing sucks!" and that would be it. They can't see the value in historic items. If it's not latest, coolest, most uber-leet PC or console . . . they don't care.

There are already kids saying "Atari? NES? What are those?"

I loved the apple IIe. They we're everywhere in elementary & middle school.

I think it was something like:

10 HR
20 Color = 5
30 Hline = (10,20)

I can't quite rember my basic.
But you should try to figure out some of the old basic code. A lot of peoples starts in CGI.

Anybody use an Apple IIgs? That's what I really started doing CG on one of those in like 1988. Good times.

I have the game Aliens for the apple IIe. Not sure if it still works though. Really cool. It's hiding on 5.25" floppy someplace.

Like redrain85 said, my Gramps tried to give me a IIe in 1995 and I was like what good will that dinosaur do me know? But their fun to tinker with but it isn't going to get any real work done for you. It's sort of a great big calculator.

I used to own an Apple ][e over here I still have the old 5.25 diskettes here something like close to 100 and some other games for it as well. Including some bought games like Leisure suit larry 1. And how to host your own murder game via the computer. Where it makes print outs for on a dot matrix computer. Shit I rmember playing that all too well now that is an antique for sure like Kiapurity C64. And my 2 Nextstations over here. Hw much ram is on there. 64K or 128 k of ram?

2 Legit 2 quit

End of line

Compucore

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.
