Lately, I was on wikipeidia, I think I was looking at the One Piece anime, and I saw a link to the Ring page. Note, I have never seen the original movie, so I was interested in it. When I read the pages, and a the ring related links, I learned many things I never knew. Like Sadako (Japanese Samara) is actually a guy. It is facinating, and a little creepy at the same time.

Weird, when I read the Ringu manga, it was very similiar to the American version of the movie and says that it was based off of the Ringu movie in Japan...
Maybe you're talking about the book? (I know the book is totally different. o_O)
