Don't know how many others here are big Half-life fans... But Episode 1 was just released on Steam, and the files are decrypting as I speak.

I'm just too excited to not post something about it. Sorry, continue on.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I would really have liked to play HL1 but unfortunately, I found out that the game lacks subtitles which really is a bummer for me.

However, I know HL2 is subtitled... so I have to check that out somehow!

(Man, I hate having to be very picky about choosing games that I know contains subtitles... Thankfully, Tron 2.0 has the precious precious subtitles.)where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

I love Half-Life!

I'm chomping at the bit to play HL2:E1 when I get home from work.

I already preloaded it a few days ago, but have yet to unlock and play it. I'll probably unlock it today, but I doubt I'll have much time to play it for the next couple of weeks.

If anybody plays it, I hope they keep the spoilers to a minimum. But tell us if you think it's good or not, worth the $20. And how long it takes you to finish it. People are guessing it's only going to provide about 6-8 hours of gameplay.

To be honest, it didn't take me very long to complete it, probably some 4-5 hours. (I didn't time it) But oh, man, was it worth 18 bucks!

I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it was, in my opinion, better then Half-life 2!

Graphic were asounding, and every second was packed with something interesting or exciting happening, and the dialouge and animation were doubtlessly improved.

But there were some downsides- Namely, I felt it was too short, not extremely short, mind you, but a little shorter then I'd expected. Also, there really weren't any new enemies or weapons to speak of. The other problem was I felt the plot wasn't truely expanded apoun.

But was the experiance worth the money? Hell yes! The action, puzzles, dialouge, music, graphics were superb.

Holy mackerel.

NOBODY tells a story like Valve. Episode 1 is worth every penny.

Too bad we have to wait for Episode 2!

I just got it today, played it and beat it. Is it short? Yes, but there is a reason for that.

Valve has came up with a really cool concept. Instead of waiting about six years for a huge game, they are releasing the new game in three parts. Therefore we can get parts of a game that leads up to a full game in a span of two to three years... but in this case, I was informed that HL:E2 is suppose to be released later this year.... but that is if I was properly informed.

Nevertheless, this is really a great game. The HL story is really good, but very complex if your new to it. If you are having problems understanding the story or certain elements of it, then follow this link. It's fully devoted to the Half Life story in all the games.

Great game.

I finally broke down and got this for the PC, and was a bit disappointed with it.

**SOME SPOLIERS FOLLOW**

1) I was hoping to revisit some of the locales from the first game. Maybe re-enter the train station you arrived in, or go through Ravenholm again, or some other areas. Other than the citadel, I didn't recognize any areas from the first game.

2) I was really hoping that you'd actually escape the city, and see some of the landscape around City 17. Looks like maybe that's what happens in Ep. 2, but I was kind of hoping to escape the city and look back on it in ruins.

3) Most of the game was played in the dark. I didn't overly care for that in Doom 3, and this game kinda irritated me with the flashlight constantly going out and being in the dark for a significant portion of the game. Oh well. I like the wide openness of the first game, this one seemed claustrophobic at times.

4) I cannot play games on the PC keyboard. I looked at gamepads at Best Buy, but they're $30+ and I am not going to shell out that much money for a gamepad for one game. I found some spots (like the ant lion boss) to be basically impossible using the keypad. I had to turn god mode on just to get past it.

All in all I was disappointed because I wanted this game to be a nostalgic recap of HL2, which is one of the top 5 games I have ever played. However, it wasn't that and stood on its own. I'm probably the only one who wanted some kind of connection to the first game Call me silly and sentimental.

I see Episode 1 and Episode 2 are going to be released together on the PS3 at some point in 2007. I’ll probably play it again, then…. But not again on the PC.

I'm the opposite; playing FPSs on consoles is an excercise in extreme frustration because gamepads are almost counter-intuitive to me. In my experience, gamepads have none of the precision and don't allow for any of the finesse of the keyboard & mouse. I've tried playing the Decay storyline in the PS2 version of HL so I could see the Black Mesa incident from a fourth perspective but I can't get very far due to the gamepad.

This is my big pet pev with games and movies. Much like PVA, which was soooo damn dark that you couldn't see what was going on.

However, concepts like this works well with the Thief games.

I use to hate HL till HL 2 came out. Now I love it. But I'm still a major Unreal fan boy... lol...

Yeah, it all boils down to what you're most used to. In fact, I have now gotten to the point where if I cannot invert the X-Y axis on the gamepad, I can't play the game.

Another thing about the keyboard... I simply cannot get my fingers to do the things they need to do. I don’t know if it's because I am pre-arthritic, or what... but having to hold down the shift key, while using W and S to move forwards and backwards and then having to use "R" to reload at the same time just makes my brain and fingers frizzle.

I can not stand using the wsad keys... I always config my keyboard to the old school FPS... here is my config..

'Up Arrow" Forward
'Down Arrow' Backward
'Left Arrow' Staff Left
'Right Arrow' Staff Right

'Right Mouse Button' Alt Fire/use/etc...
'Left Mouse Button' Fire
'Middle Mouse Button' use/item/gernades/etc...

'Shift' Jump
'Ctrl' Crouch... or crotch... lol...

'Backspace' reload
'num 0' run/kick/etc...
'num 1' walk/sneak/etc...
'Return' use/interact/etc..

'Mouse Wheel' zoom

Did I leave anything out???

It was Doom's bindings (except for most of what I listed) but it works with almost every game I play. If you don't like the wsad keys, give this a try....

Hope this helps...abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Here's my current setup.

You can see the Ergodex DX1 Input System to the left of the keyboard, the Razer Diamondback Gaming Mouse to the right of said keyboard, and just above the DX1 is the Sennheiser PC 150 Gaming Headset which I use with Game Commander 2, a software application that enables you to map game controls to verbal commands. Behind the flat panel there's also a Microsoft SideWinder Precision 2 Joystick that I use for flight & space sims.

The whole setup works really well for just about any game.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
