No doubt... She was the first female hero since Ms. Pac. I would have included her, but I was trying to be brief on my blog.... Some think that it is limited to what I posted but I did make clear of this.....

I have very fond memories of the first time I played Metroid. It was such a different game... The shock of the hero being a girl evaded me since I had a friend who completed the game and spoiled the ending for me... Damn... It was the same SOB that spoiled the plot of "Empire Strikes Back" and I was just a little lad back then..

Of Capcom's classics... I have to agree. Mega-Man and Strider are my all time favs... Capcom is one of the Masters of music of video games. Sega (Revenge Of Shinobi) is another... Square of course. Nintendo, Konami, SNK, etc... Oh... and there are are some American companies too...
As for Pinball... Williams and Stern are the best.... But that is my point-of-view......
Hey MM... I'm doing better with the dashes... Much better than the MAN-HOLE issue... lol.... Thought I'd bring that up for a good laugh... lol.... (to others it was discussed in another thread... I guess it's more of an inside joke)... lol..

Just remember to keep being careful where you are when you drink! You never know when those nasty hyphens will sneak up on you...
Had I visited the sector more often and seen this thread, then my vote would've been cast for Duke Nukem. Anybody who actually tears the head off a bad guy and craps down its throat gets my vote!
As for pinball, I think I've talked about it before on the sector somewhere, but my favorite pinball machine of all time is Williams's Black Knight 2000. After that comes Midway's Attack From Mars. I always cracked up when the little rubber Martians jiggled menacingly!

Blaster Master owned and the only thing I wish that game had was a "Save" or "Password" feature because I never beat that game!
But it was completely badass!
As far as Pinball goes, I love the Invaders from Mars game (the statue of Abe Lincoln fighting a giant Martian is too great for this world), World Cup Soccer and the Back to the Future pinball machines.
But, in the history of consoles, my favorite game of all is Mega Man 2. It truly had everything and to this day I still play it! Right behind it would be Gunstar Heroes/Revenge of Shinobi. Revenge of Shinobi may have the best soundtrack to any game of its day - the boss fight music being some of the best ever.
Current games, I'd say Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic gets my vote for favorite game. It's the best thing to happen to Star Wars since the Empire Strikes Back.

The Revenge of Shinobi was the game that got me to buy the Sega Genesis when it first was released in America. The Genesis had a much more mature feeling to it before Sonic. And the music artist who did the sound tracks was awesome. I still listen to the game music from Revenge of Shinobi all the time... even though most of it was FM, I still love it..
My all time fav. pinball game is "The Machine: Bride of Pinbot". I think it was the memories I have playing the game at our local skating rink when I was a wee lad... I so love the bride.
Underated Nintendo game... Blaster Master rocked. I wasn't any good at the game, but I loved to play it anyways. The tank concept was a great idea. They made a Blaster Master 2 for the Genesis, but it sucked...
Bionic Commando has got to be my personal fav. of underated games. A cool concept and story line.
