i need the non 'LT' version of this program to extract audio files from sound.rez in windows 98. 'Winrez LT' doesn't support windows 98 and i'm not too sure about 'Winrez Pro' which i'm definitely not looking forward to having to pay for. i've tried looking for and downloading the program through p2p networks (the original 'winrez' was free when it was around) but that hasn't worked out well -it's been three weeks i've been in queue and i haven't recieved a single bit...

Ditto. TRON-Sector is not the place for seeking out any illegal copies of programs, or any other forms of media. Discussions about how to obtain illegal copies of anything will be promptly shut down and/or removed entirely. I won't even get in to how much trouble that kind of thing can cause for this web site.

What you choose to do outside TRON-Sector is your business. If it is anything illegal, please do not bring it up here.

The original version of WinRez (now WinRez Pro), was never free.

That's why WinRez LT was created.

Anyway, if all someone wants to do is extract files: then Game Extractor has a user-friendly GUI, and also does the job.
