I want so bad to see a MK sequel, it inspired me to think something which would make a lot of $$$. (edit: 1st instinct was to say-VERRRRRy cool.)
Get all the actors from MK1-3 (EDIT: arcade) onset and IN-CHARACTER with the actors of MK1 & 2 the film---IN the NEW sequel!!!
I'm gonna make an image soon expressing my hope for this. btw,
I think Johnny Cage from both MK1 (film) and MK2 (arcade) rocked!!! (Was there a second actor in MK2 arcade for J. Cage from the arcade M.K.1??)
...my personal fav. character[s, I guess]-Mileena (MK2), J.Cage MK2 + 4, and Liu Kang Shaolin Monks.

Erm. In the ... really bad MK2 sequel, Johnny Cage/Cash  died right at the beginning. I knew the film was doomed because he was great in the first film.
At that point in time, MK1 was actually the better video game film in contrast to Double Dragon and Street Fighter. (Street Fighter was probably the worst because it was just... wow. No special effects at all and the plot made no sense.)

I never saw MK2.
MK1 was a fun film. Nothing deep, meaningful, great or specacular, but it was a fun film.
