Well, we're here in the 2200 Club together!
Just like I said, I brought my TRON DVD to watch, so... shall we dance?
You know - I actually use that when I can - the TRON line. I love the opportunity to use ANY line from the film in everyday conversation. 
So, we'll watch TRON and enjoy the place.
Oh - that's for the mudslide!

What a long climb it was too!
I put so much effort in to responding to as many posts as I could to get here. I'm EXHAUSTED!
It was a lot of fun though. It was a good excuse to spend all the free time I could here at TRON-Sector - I just HAD to reach you! Ever since your "holy crap in a hat" post.
Well, you're reached. I can check that off my list of stuff to do in 2006. 
I imagine you'll quickly reclaim your #3 position in the top posters listing... and I'll probably soon be bumped by Boingo_Buzzard, who's been quite active himself.
But at least I have this moment.
Ahhhh.
Oh - how about a quick snapshot to preserve this moment!

Hey, you know how in football and stuff they say, "Joe Montana passed for a bazillion yards during his career and that equates to 36,000 miles," or whatever? I think we should do something similar here. Figure out how much space (width-wise) an average Times New Roman character takes up on a 1024 x 768 screen. Run a server query on all your posts to see how many characters you've typed since rezzing in to the Sector. Multiply the width of each character by the number of characters you've typed and "Voila!", you know how many millimeters you've typed! Oh, LOL, that's not what we want now is it?? Heck no!! For then we would divide that by 10 to get the number of centimeters you've typed. Divide that by 2.54 to get the number of inches you've typed. Divide that by 12 to get the number of feet you've typed. And divide that by 5280 to get the number of miles you've typed! Wouldn't it be great to figure out? Okay, where's the resident Engineer here, wwwmwww? He loves analytical challenges like this.
I can see that DaveTRON has probably typed a few more miles here than any of us. Hmm, but then again! - TheReelTodd may be neck-and-neck with DaveTRON because of the sheer length of his messages!

Hey - neat idea!
But, I'm not sure there is any way to get a character count from the total of our posts. That's something that only Auric would be able to do, and I'm not even sure the engine that runs TRON-Sector allows for such statistics, or that Auric would care to spend the time programming such a thing. But it certainly would be neat to see.
Who knows - maybe the sum of the total length of the characters of my posts back to back is coming close to reaching the moon!
Naa - I doubt that. But I bet my characters could have traveled round-trip to a few landmarks or so.
Good or bad - I am kind of known for my long-winded posts. I just can't help it sometimes. If I got stuff going on in there ** pointing to head ** I just got to get it out! I know most people probably just skim my long-damn posts, but I'm sure there are a couple of programs who read them through. So that's cool. Sometimes I just like to get my thoughts out on paper anyway... er, on... in message forum? Yeah - something like that.

Yep - you should!
I remember a few lengthy durations where you were not spending much time at The Sector, so that is probably part of it.
But you seem to have been more active lately. Fun, isn't it?
Believe it or not, sometimes when I'm in a bummer mood, I just like to browse through The Sector's I/O Forums and see what's going on. After reading through a few threads, I usually forget why I was bummed in the first place and start posting away myself.
