I think we're more likely to see duke nukem's long awaited sequel before we see another GnR CD, which maybe for the best. How can you live up to 14+ years of expectations, especially when you've already release one of the top 5 (just in my opinion, not quoting statistics) rock albums. It'd be cool to see a new release though.

I'd really like to see Axel pull it off, but I agree it's not likely. Boston will probably have two more albums out before GNR does.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Last I heard anything about Axle was that he played a DJ on GTA: SanAnderas...

What surprises me is how long Aerosmith has been around and still rocking. I was never a ultra fan of the group but some of my personal fav. songs was performed by them.

You know... I'm going to see if I can dig up my old GNR CDs and pop em in the computer. I've not listen to them in a while. Brings back some really awesome memories.

Yeah, now there was a great band.

When "Appetite For Destruction" came out, I was so impressed that I went right out and got a G'n'R patch for my denim Levi's jacket.

If you don't have the slow versions of "Used To Love Her" and "You're Crazy" on the "Best Of" you just got, you should pick up "G N' R Lies". Great stuff!

In fact...

Fiddles with his iPod and queues up those very songs
...there we go!

GUNS 'N' EFIN' ROSES!!!

"We are, after all, not God." - Cmdr. J. J. Adams
"C is for cookie. That's good enough for me." - Cookie Monster
"If money is the root of all evil, I'd like to be a bad, bad man." - Huey Lewis & the News

Most recent PC game collection update: 04/12/2012. Check it out!

I play guitar, and was in a small band several years ago. We wrote most of our own music (which was hard-rock/soft-rock). We all broke up, but I still play for myself.

Learning to play is only part of it, conditioning your fingers and certain arm muscles (mainly for bar chording) is the other. I've noticed that when I don't play for a month or two, my fingers will hurt and my arms get fatigue when I start playing again.

I guess most string insturments are like that...

BTW: I think you're right, the Rolling Stones are still doing their thing and I think their band is older than Aerosmith... cool, I thought The Stones were still rockin.
(Speaking of stones, I just realized that GNR redid Sympathy for the Devil...huh...)

Yeah, I still wish I could play guitar, though...showbiz isn't for the people who can just sing...at least, not much...it seems everyone can sing and play at the same time...all I can do is sing...and when I'm not singing, I'm playing a trumpet...
yeah...Band geeks of the world unite.

There's some classic rock that used trumpets. Sargent Peppers (I think the movie soundtrack) if memory serves me right, was all based around the trumpet. Been a long time since I heard the album.

Come to think of it, I'll have to go through my MP3 collection and check it out.

Hey, Vortex.... By any chance do you live in Southern Illinios... If so, I live in Williamson County.... The county directly under Franklin....

You probably don't, but I figured I'd ask anyways...

I had a family reunion in Giant City State Park back in 1999. Is that anywhere near you? I loved that part of the country. So totally alien and foreign from where I come from (Southern Arizona).
