memorex DVD-R

on Monday, January, 02, 2006 6:08 AM
Does anyone have issues backing up movies on Memorex DVD-R?

I own the TV series '24 Season 4' and was trying to back it. All my decoders work just fine, but I can't burn it... I wonder if it’s my DVD burner or the discs I've been using...

any suggestions??

It's hard to say. In the past, I've always found Memorex to be a good brand. But trying a different brand would probably tell you for sure. Unless maybe there's a problem with your Windows drivers?

Funny enough . . . I'll be returning my own DVD burner for an exchange shortly. I've tried everything possible (changing drivers, flashing the firmware, checking the cables, re-installing Nero, using different DVD brands) and my drive is still giving me nothing but coasters now. I've eliminated every other factor, except the drive itself. It went from working perfectly, to a coaster machine. Grr.

Are you sure the series doesn't have copy protection on it...?

Though, I would worry less about having to back up dvds because they tend to last long if you take very good care of them.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I broke the copy protection just fine using AnyDVD but for some reason it wont back up on a Memorex DVD-R.

I would love to try another brand, but that's all I got at the moment.

You're right, since DVD's are suppose to last a life time as long as we take care of them, but I like to back them up just in case. Besides, I have small children (neises) who find ways into my DVD stash. They broke some in the past.

Once I try a different DVD-R, I'll let everyone know what happened...

I normally use Verbatim (I think they're the best) but I got all these Memorex DVDs for christmas.

Their new solgon should be, "Is it broken? or is it Memorex?"
