He's the co-host of a show on G4tv named "judgement day". I was suprised as well, over $700.00 already!
I must have seen that guy say something about the PC game Tron 2.0, three or four times. It's really great to see someone who knows, Tron 2.0 shouldn't be ignored.

Oyyyy... I wish I could buy this Tron stuff. Oh well.
Anyways, I don't know Tommy either, but maybe they're referring to the imdb.com one? http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0848118/(Composer for Spiderman and stuff.) I looked at some of his past eBay auctions, and he has bought some Spiderman type stuff, a Star Wars Jawa replica and other interesting things.
Anyways, DaveTRON should tell Dan Shor about this auction. Maybe Dan wants his old costume back! 
I like that the seller says this: "...Please don't wear this for halloween!" Shows that s/he cares about it and wants it to go to a good home. That would suck if someone who hates Tron gets it and decides to trash it.

Anyone who pays more than $700 for this - and it's not even a whole Tron costume - deserves to get ripped off. What gets me though, however, is thus: considering all the extras they had wearing suits in the film, you'd think there would be at least 20/30 of them kicking around in some studio lot. I can say that they are all hanging on a rack about 10 feet off the ground at the rear of the Wardrobe Building on Circle Seven Drive in Glendale California.
I know this because I used to work right next door at BVG and often borrowed the remaining costumes for TRON related events while I worked there. Most of what is left is in such a terrible state if disrepair that nobody would want it, but there are still a few pieces I'd love to have.
Damn I wish they'd sold some of it to me while I worked there. Oh well.

You gotta be kidding - no way. I mean, what use is it to them? Pity they couldn't at least donate one to the site so people could figure out how to replicate it themselves. A real shame, they probably get a kick out of knowing people desire these items even though they couldn't care less, as you say, Dave. Perhaps one of us could write them a letter/pay them a visit? Go to the headquarters of BVG on Circle Seven drive in Glendale, CA, then go one building to the left of it, and you are there. Best of luck in trying!
