Yeah, but that next step is a doozy. There's nearly a 300 post gap once you pass Prankster Bit. Then another once you pass Kamui and Trace. Some big gulfs in there.

Passing moi? Not happening unless I die off due to paper poisioning. Or I lose interest in Tron. *Gasp*

And here's one more post to help keep me moving forward! Hah!

Look at TheReelTodd go, though! Phew! I think he stole a copy of the Post-O-Matic from you, DT. And he may have lent his copy to Boingo, too.

Congrats to everyone who's passed the 1000 mark.

You've got a good point there. Back on 11/23 when I started this thread ol' Todd was here:

05. TheReelTodd.....1758

In a little over a month, he's now here!?!?

04. TheReelTodd.....2008

That's huge!

Boingo, wow! 1666 to 1930. Nice jump.

I need to patent the Post-O-Matic and start getting my cut of the deal here! I might not be alone in the 3K club for long.

Actually, I think Boingo_Buzzard has been maintaining a more steady post-rate than I have. So perhaps he's lending me his post-o-matic.

I've just been trying to stay as active as time will allow. It kind of goes in spurts - I'll post a lot for a while, then life drags me in to busy-as-frikin-hell mode and I'm lucky to get in to TRON-Sector even once daily at times.

So for now, I'm posting away and loving every micro cycle of it!

Gaaaa! What's up with "circumlocutory"? THANKS for making me look up that word!

Remember in the old days of school - the teacher would tell us to look it up when we asked "what's this word mean?" I'd never look it up - took too damn long in a **gasp** book! These days, a quick trip to dictionary.com or whatever, and we're enlightened!

Isn't the internet GREAT?!

Well, you got to jump in and post a little more often!

Here, use Boingo_Buzzard's post-o-matic button:

Keep clicking it and it will increase your post count by generating random posts for you based on a complex algorithm that analyzes your previous posts, translates them in to a bunch of 1's and 0's, and then churns out new posts from the old posts. It's like a post recycler!

'Tis! I use dictionary.com and thesaurus.com all the time (how I got "circumlocutory") )

Between that and imdb.com you have all the info you'd ever need!

At random though, it creates a time/space anomaly that will suck you into a parallel world populated by fire breathing cabbages. So use with caution!!!

Fire-breathing cabbages? Hah!

I'm part Irish, so those cabbages don't stand a chance!

They shall either kneel before me or be boiled and sit next to my corned beef and potatoes!

As for what my favorite online reference site is, that would be Merriam-Webster OnLine. I even use their extremely useful toolbar.

Yeah - dictionary.com is really handy, ain't it!

Boingo_Buzzard Wrote:Between that and imdb.com you have all the info you'd ever need!

Oddly enough - there's a lot of truth to that! Unless you're working on your thesis or something similar, chances are whatever you're looking up can indeed be found in one of the two! imdb.com has settled many arguments at work too!
