Well this is something really different. A friend of mine that I have known since High school had given me the heads up that where he is working at Pratt and Whitney in Longueuil Quebec. That they will be calling me in for an interview sometime this week. For tech support in the night to graveyard shift. It's to deal with the other satelite offices and some of their other places there in Europe. I'll be waiting pins and needles for this. ANd the pay is about twice as muich as I am making over where I am working right now. So its nothing to sneeze at here. So I'll keep everyone posted here about it. ANd let everyone know whats is going one with it.

Hey TheReelTodd Yeah I figures its a good opportunity for me over ehre as well. It gets to you after a while doing something that you don't like to do. But it pays the bills you know. Yeah the hours are rough. But they will change after three months there. Then it'll be like day shift. and there are other posotions than that. Even my prodigy had to go through it as well when he went there. I am hoping over ehre that they will call me up . I figure its right up my lane here. ANd I know a lot over ehre with my friend and profs over ehre always saying good things about me when it comes to computers. And the pay is better than what I am currently making right now. ANd plus Pratt and Whittney is a hug manufacture in the areo industry too like soe of the other Manufacturers there. So good business to be in there I do say.

Yeah they are a solid company. I was lucky enough to have worked in GM as well for a few summers when they had the plant open befor they tore it down. For a few summers when I was going to college. Love working for companies like that.

Here's a little update for everyone. Since I had gone to work this morning and feeling like a pile of poop.this morning when I had caught a cold over the weekend. I had told my bossthat I had to go home since I was not feeling well this morning. I had received a call this morning from Pratt and Whitney for a job interview with them tomorrow. I just got back from driving to their place this evening so I knwew where to go tomorrow morning. So I'll be heading there tomorrow morning for the interview at 10 AM. Wish me luck folks. I'll be praying to get teh job over there this evening.

Yet another update: well the interview went well this morning I didn't know until around 4 PM this afternoon when I came home from running around like crzy over here. I had called my friend back on his cell phone. He had spoken with his Boss that day when he came in. Looks like I have a 99.5% chance of getting it. Now I am waiting to hear from their their HR dept. to see when they are going to be sending the contract out for it. (3-month trial. If I do well. which I am sure of this. I'll be there pmernently there.) I was nearly in tears of joy this afternoon hearing at least that and so soon.

Sitting in front of my Telegraph machine as it starts sputtering lciks like crazy as I start decypering the Morse code. Well folks ;looks like I got the job at Pratt and Whittney. I have to give a callback tomorrow and get things finalized for the new job over here.
