on Tuesday, August, 23, 2005 7:51 PM
I bought this game and it is so COOL!!! Yes it came out today... I got to the game store and there were so few you had to have a reservation to get one. There were only to on sale and I got a chihuahua one for only $35.00!!! Is that not awesome or what!!! Anyway in this game you get to buy and raise a dog in the way you want to. Since I have already lets see...

1.

2.

3.

4.

5 chihuahuas i know how they act and it is very realistic.

This game positively rocks and I give it a 4 1/2 out of 5.

Enjoy.

It does look kind of fun but *shrugs*... no DS. Maybe when they get a DS emulator for the PSP I'll play it

Too bad they don't have Australian Shepherds for it. They are VERY energtic and cuddly.

At least I have some real life dogs to take care of as I don't have a DS.

You know, that can probably happen too, but can you imagine one for the DS emulating the PSP? No!

Although some of the split screen and touch screen features might be hard to emulate. Does the DS even hook up to a PC? I have never really been interested in one, knowing the PSP was coming out so soon after it... so I don't really know the specs.

There's so much of the PSP functionality I haven't even touched or tried out yet, like the wireless capability.

I would like to say... I am tired of the Nintendog carboard displays that are in every store here. You know, the ones that have the barking puppy sensor.

I've looked at the game. It's a very neat game. I tink they simulated a puppy pretty nicely. Do they age, or remain pupies all the time?

Course while the game is cool, you can't any better than real puppies.

I don't know if they age or not I think they stay the same. And they simulated the chihuahua's perfectly. Trust me I have 5. Well I had 5. I have 4 now.
Well, one got eaten by a coyote.

Not sure if this is a game spoiler or what.... but I'll go with the flow......

That's terrible that they portray coyotes in that manner. They aren't always that vicious. Yes, some people have their cats nabbed every now and again by them but usually out in the boonies or when their land encroaches on their territory.

No.. I am not a PETA nut, I just like coyotes and find them more shy than aggressive and hate to see them (and bats) portrayed as pests.

Hey there!

I got this game a few days ago and am looooooooooving my new golden retriever. She's a feisty little girl. I named her Madison.

I have to say this is the most addicting game I've played in ages. I can't get enough. I'm such a softy because this game has me melting over how cute my new puppy is.

She has so much personality! It's hilarious just to watch her interact with some of her new toys that she found on some of the walks we've been on together.

I'm taking her to the obedience competition tomorrow. She's ready and up to the task as she now knows 9 different tricks that I've taught her these past few days.

Yeah, sorry my rant was about the game, and now seems somewhat insensitive given that it happened to you in RL. I apologize.

Sorry about your dog.

Yes, in fact the version of Nintendogs that I purchased (there's 3 versions of the game altogether) is called "Dachsund & Friends".

It comes with the following puppies:

Miniature Dachsund
Golden Retriever
Beagle
Pug
Siberian Husky (which I will be purchasing soon)
Shih Tzu
