for brits [and everybody else]:Citizens required.

on Sunday, August, 14, 2005 6:02 AM

ok, this is intended more for the brits on here, but it might appeal to everyone else as well:

there's a show on tv over here at the moment called "how to start your own country" .in it, a man called Danny Wallace has created a brand new country within his london flat. "it's the only fully double glazed country in the world", he said.

he's created a website devoted to his new [currently unnamed] country, and already has about 20,049 citizens [i was number 20,043], with Danny being King Danny 1

the thing is, it has actually worked, the newest country in the world is contained within a london flat but has already has more citizens that the vatican city[the smallest country in the world-about 900 citizens] he has a flag, national anthem, everything!

it's a really mad idea, and because of that i'm strangely drawn towards it.

see what you think:

i have devoted exactly half of myself to this, that way i can get the best of both countries.

of course, if there's ever a war, then i'm going to be a bit of an outcast

King Danny was given 60,000 acres of moon by this guy. that's 60,000 times the size of the portion of moon that George W Bush owns. yes, your humble president has bought some moon from this guy.

I know this is supposed to be fun and all, but does anyone else read this stuff and just think "MORONS". Geez, got better things to do with a life?

By the way, I mean His Majesty and the Moon guy. Not the people who signed up. I just think people who look for loophioles and claim the moon are idiots by birthright.

This cracks me up. moon mining for H3. hahaah.

But seriously, we call our moon, The Moon. Now, who's is it first, and who bought in, cause they need a one way ticket.

No wonder Arnold wants to blow it up. But you know, if they are just amusing themselves by owning a peice of the moon, it must reflect how dark they really are.

Next, they will have a war cuz someone turned the axis of the moon to make the other's side black. heh.

But he may really want to blow it up, because they want to transmit radio to a reciever to convert it to energy, and one country's signal may accidently sweep over Pasedena. hehe.

So do you guys have a formitable military presence? (in your country).
